National Hazardous Weather Outlook for Saturday May 25

A storm system will be in place over Kansas.  A warm front will extend from Michigan southeast to Virginia.  Thunderstorms and pockets of moderate to heavy rain will result.  There will be a slight to enhanced chance for severe thunderstorms from southern Texas northeast to Iowa including Kansas City and Omaha.  There will be a slight chance for severe thunderstorms over eastern Indiana, southeastern Michigan, northern Ohio, northwestern Pennsylvania, and western New York including the cities of Buffalo, Detroit, and Cleveland.  There will be an enhanced chance for severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes over southwestern Kansas, western Oklahoma, and northwestern Texas.  There will be a moderate chance for flash flooding from northwestern Texas northeast to southern Iowa and northern Missouri.
