Hazardous Weather Outlook for Saturday June 23


An area of low pressure will be shifting east along the Texas and Oklahoma border with thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rain expected.  There will be a slight chance for severe thunderstorms from southern Missouri southwest to northern Texas.  Cities with a slight chance for severe thunderstorms include Ft. Worth, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa.  There will be a slight chance for flash flooding over the same areas.  River flooding will be possible to likely over parts of southern Minnesota, Iowa, northeastern Missouri, Illinois, and western Wisconsin.  There will be an elevated wildfire threat on Saturday over the interior of northern California.  There will be an elevated to critical wildfire threat over southern Nevada, southern Utah, northern and eastern Arizona, western New Mexico, and western Colorado.
