Hazardous Weather Outlook for Monday January 21


A storm system will be shifting east across northern Colorado.  Snow will stretch from the Dakotas southwest to the interior of central California.  Snowfalls of 6 to 9 inches are indicated over western Wyoming, central and northern Utah, and the central Sierra Mountains of California.  Some freezing rain is possible over central and eastern Nebraska and over western Iowa.  High pressure will be situated over Tennessee.  There will be an elevated to critical wildfire threat on Monday over southeastern Arizona, central and southern New Mexico, and western Texas.
